Cal Poly proudly announces the completion of Poly Canyon Village in Fall 2009. This spectacular, impressive, new, on-campus apartment development houses 2700 continuing student residents. Poly Canyon Village spans approximately 30 acres and is located at the northeast corner of Cal Poly at the base of picturesque Poly Canyon. Within nine 4 and 5 story buildings, 618 furnished apartment units nestle around a large plaza, bustling with student activities, dining, and retail vendors. The central retail plaza includes Einstein Bros. Bagels, Peet's Coffee and Tea, Jamba Juice, and the Village Market. This state-of-the-art complex includes a community center, swimming pool, study rooms, knowledge center, and conference room. Throughout the Poly Canyon Village Apartment complex there are 4 floorplans, housing 4 to 6 students in private and shared bedrooms. Eighty percent of the apartments are four private bedroom units.

Cerro Vista Apartments

Poly Canyon Village Plaza and Apartments

Completed in September of 2004, the Cerro Vista Apartment Complex is located on the hillside just north of Village Drive and Klamath Road on Cal Poly's campus. The Cerro Vista Apartments have beautiful panoramic views of the Cal Poly Campus and the surrounding San Luis Obispo landscape. Approximately 800 Cal Poly students reside at Cerro Vista in the spacious four-bedroom apartments. The apartment complex has 200 apartments providing 800 private bedrooms. Each apartment is approximately 1,000 square feet and each bedroom is approximately 107 square feet. All apartments are fully furnished and students share a living room, two bathrooms, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The Cerro Vista community offers a living environment for students who are comfortable and more experienced with an independent lifestyle.
