  • Rental listings CANNOT be restricted due to age, race, color, national origin, religion, marital status, gender, sexual orientation, physical disability, or families with children.
  • A person in a single-family dwelling who is advertising for a roommate may express a preference on the basis of gender, if living areas (such as the kitchen, living room or bathroom) wil be shared by the roommate.
  • Please be aware that rental listings cannot make any references to the type of person you would like to rent to and must be in compliance with Fair Housing Acts.

  • Renters need to be aware that some landlords or Property Management Companies may charge non-refundable fees for applying and/or credit reports.
The Off-Campus Rental Listing Service is provided by Cal Poly's Housing and Residential Life Department as a resource for Cal Poly students. The University has not inspected, approved, or disapproved of the facilities listed, and therefore does not accept responsibility for the listings.
Listing agents - system to be updated in March

The Off-Campus Listing Service system is soon to be re-designed to improve functionality. As part of the process, inactive user accounts will be cleared. To keep your account "active", login to the system and click the "keep my account active" button. All accounts that are not marked as "keep active" will be removed and must be re-created after the update.

After the update, user accounts will remain active for 1 year (365 days) after the last login date to permit listing agents to list rental(s) on an annual basis.
