2026 Session Dates and Fees
Cal Poly is here to support the summer housing needs of incoming first-year and transfer students who are enrolled in a listed summer program. Continuing students may sign up for summer housing regardless of enrollment in summer units.
Semester Kickstart

Campus housing is offered in yakʔitʸutʸu to incoming first-year students participating in the Semester Kickstart Program. Rooms are triple or quintuple occupancy. Students with the next academic year housing will move out and into their fall room assignment early.

Summer Institute

Summer Quarter Housing
Continuing Cal Poly students enjoy the convenience of summer housing in a designated building in one of our campus apartments. Apartments are fully furnished and include a kitchen. The summer housing application opens 9 a.m., Thursday, May 7.

Occupancy rates are for a single bedroom in a shared apartment unless otherwise noted. Actual rates may vary, subject to assigned room type and the number of nights requested. Additional dates may be added for an additional fee, based on availability. All fees and dates are proposed and subject to Executive Order & Board of Trustees Approval.
Bridge Housing
Students who have campus housing contracts for the spring quarter and summer quarter (starting June 21) qualify for spring to summer bridge housing. Those with campus housing contracts for the summer quarter (ending Aug. 13) and fall semester, qualify for summer to fall bridge housing. You must be available on Thursday, Aug. 13 to move from your summer room to your fall room. The application for summer to fall bridge housing opens 9 a.m., Tuesday, July 28.
