Navigating Campus
It’s important to follow the Maritime Academy Move-in map for move-in. Upon arrival, follow directions given by our traffic control staff. Maps include general guidance to residence halls and other spaces you will access during move-in. Shuttles will be available to get you between parking lots, residence halls and other lower campus spaces.
Absolutely no RVs, oversized vehicles, U-Hauls or trailers. They cannot navigate height limits of parking structures, sharp turns on campus roads, or pass through and unload in our drop-off zones, which are designed for a standard size vehicle.
Ship-To-Room and Mailing Services
Collegeboxes
Cal Poly partners with Collegeboxes to offer a ship-to-room service for those who would like to ship items directly to their room on campus. Items will be placed in the student’s room by move-in day.
Mailing to Campus
The Student Mailing Center accepts resident mail starting after move-in.
Student mailing address will be:

What to Bring
Pack Light!
You can bring additional items at breaks, if you need them. Place items in reusable bags or bins that you can stow in your room or take home. Avoid cardboard. Take new items out of packaging before you pack them to reduce overflowing waste bins on campus.
